This week in math we have focused on concepts of data collection and ways to share the information. Today students used tally marks to vote for their favorites. We collected data on four topics and discussed the results. Next students filled in bar graphs and wrote two sentences making observations about the graph. For homework tonight they need to finish the remaining two graphs and write two observations on each.  This is compiled into a nice book!

In science we are continuing to learn about seeds and how different seeds grow into plants with different attributes. Today we planted four different vegetable seeds. Every few days we will record the changes as well as compare how the plants are similar and different.  Hopefully all this warm weather will help our plants grow!
