Everyday this month, as we count down the days to Christmas, we do a project or read a story. We've read " Room for a Little One," "The Wild Christmas Reindeer," "The Crippled Lamb," and "A Star so Bright" to name a few.  We made big felt decorations and a nativity scene(keep Jesus in your heart).  We will be making ornaments and cards this week.

In reading and writing we are reading many versions of the story and poem the Gingerbread Man. We are doing compare and contrast along with five finger retell.

In math we are beginning fractions (1/2 and 1/4)  and continuing decomposing shapes and describing attributes of 2D and 3D shapes.  We read "Three Pigs and a Tangram" and composed shapes with the Tangram pieces.

Today we got to see the Christmas Pageant. It is being performed in the church Tuesday evening.
