STEM Lighthouses

Today in science first graders learned about Lighthouses. They planned their own design, built, and tested out their lighthouse. Students used reflective, opaque and transparent materials. We used a flashlight as a light source. Very creative with a fantastic application of concepts. THe first graders were very proud of their designs.
