We are Thankful for Buddies

Today we gathered in 1B with our 7th grade buddies to learn about Thanksgiving and make a project. We made thankful turkeys. Students also watched the Thanksgiving Brainpop.
In math we reviewed concepts from unit 2 and worked with a partner to solve various addition and subtraction problems.
In writing we have been focusing on a Thanksgiving writing booklet. We read "Carlos' First Thanksgiving" and "I am Thankful" on Reading A to Z.
