7th Grade Buddies Project

Today was a great day as our 7th grade buddies came to first grade to work on a special project. Students listened to and watch a you-tube of the story "Stellaluna" by Janell Cannon. Together students made a bat with the beginning, middle, and end of the story. These are displayed in the first grade hallway. Later this week we will have a non-fiction story on bats, a mini-book, and poem about bats.

Tomorrow for Halloween we will be going over to Mary Foley Park for fun and games at Octoberfest. We will make fact family haunted houses during math and dance to Halloween music for our brain break. This week we have Mass on Wednesday at 9am to honor All Saints Day and an early release on Friday.
