Grandparents Visit

This has been a busy and special week. On Wednesday students enjoyed having their grandparents visit. First graders made a hand tracing with a poem as a gift. They shared their journal writing and walked hand in hand over to church. It was great to attend church with the grandparents.
Thursday was picture day and today was an early release. Students took their unit 2 Fundations assessment and an addition fluency quiz. Students wrote about the life cycle of the apple tree and used the vocabulary they have been learning.
