Summer is Winding Down

I can't believe that a new school year starts in one week!. What a fun and relaxing summer I've had with plenty of beach time and family gatherings. I've enjoyed going to Maine, New Hampshire, and Washington D.C. over the past two months. This week I organized the classroom and decorated the bulletin boards so 1A is ready for the bright and shiny faces of my new first graders. Over the summer I took a course on Phonics(Fundations) and prepared new math games/activities. I can't wait to hear about my students' summers and get to know each of them better.
