Today students took MAP testing for reading over at the computer lab. On Thursday students will take the Math MAP test. Everyone was focused and worked carefully. This afternoon students had the opportunity to closely observe worms before they were placed in the compost bin. We even learned that a baby worm is called a wormlet, which happens to be a compound word. This morning we made compound word tress and beehives. In math this week we are learning to measure with non-standard (paper clips and cubes) and standard (inches) measures. Every day we have been singing the May Procession songs. We even got to practice outside yesterday!
