6th Grade Buddies and Fun Friday

Yesterday we attended Mass and then our 6th grade buddies came to visit first grade. I read the book "The Legend of the Candy Cane" and the students made candy canes with beads. Then they glued the poem and made construction paper candy canes. It was fun to have the older students help us make candy canes!
All week students worked hard to complete their work and be "good" listeners. At the end of the day students were able to make learning choices. We really look forward to fun Friday!
