As we prepare for the birth of Jesus, students have learned an Advent song and made a 3-D advent wreath. We used cylinders (tp rolls) circles (paper plates), and rectangles (construction paper. In math, if you did not know, we are learning about 2D and 3D shapes, their attributes, and how to make them. Next we will be composing and decomposing shapes. Also, next week we will be reading "Three Little Pigs, A Wolf, and a Tangram." We have been reading folktales and fairy tales and soon students will write their own. We are looking forward to seeing our sixth grade buddies tomorrow after Mass.
