Today we had so much fun in math! We played Die Plus Ten Four in A Row. Students built the number rolled with place value blocks and then used strategy to cover numbers. In Math we also drew place value blocks and learned expanded form. Have your child show you our arm motions for expanded form.
In Science we had our activity block so we took a practice field trip to Mary Foley Park. As scientists, students made observations using 4 of their 5 senses (never ever eat science class!). Students also practiced staying in line with their partner as we walked to and from the park.
