Terrific Thursday!

We enjoyed the fresh breeze and cooler air today. The students accomplished a lot especially during the reading block. At centers the children did phonics, played word games, and wrote/drew the beginning, middle, & end to retell a story from earlier this week. I was able to continue reading assessments. In Math we have been counting tens and building numbers by making tens and ones. The apple tree science unit has been fun learning about the life cycle of an apple tree, singing songs, and making life cycle paper plates.
