Second Day Fun

Today we continued to learn routines. The day began with our morning meeting on the Smartboard and some journal writing. We had a chance to use the Unifix cubes and began learning expectatons for using manipulatives. It was fun to make towers and patterns with the cubes. Today we even had a little recess with the 1B class. Our day concluded with rereading Wemberly Worried and starting to make our Wemberly puppet. We made a graph of our feelings about school today. Most were happy or excited. A few were tired--- remember to get enough rest!

Tomorrow is another early release at 11:00 am. Then a four day weekend over the Labor Day holiday. Pictures are posted in the gallery.
